ROBERT A. LYNCH
ACTOR | IMPROVISER | OCCASIONAL LAMP REPAIRMAN
SAG-AFTRA ELIGIBLE
Logline:
Midwest Everyman
Bio:
Rob has been called the next Jack Lemmon.
You may have seen him in the award-winning webseries Platoon of Power Squadron playing by the childlike businessman Riley, or as the underappreciated sound technician Audio Bob at the Bootleg Theater’s premiere production of “The Stand-In”, or in the mockumentary he wrote and produced, “.4 Seconds: Ricky Hustile’s Last Shot at the NBA!“
He is currently creating characters for his Instagram and Youtube channels. His personal favorite is “Shark Eating Pizza.”
He has studied improvisational acting with Ric Murphy, creator of DePaul Theater’s Schools Professional Acting Program, for the past two years (John C. Reilly, Gillian Anderson, Judy Greer).
He cut his teeth in Chicago’s improv comedy scene. He has completed Second City, iO and the Annoyance’s improv training programs. And he performed in several of Chicago’s black box theaters.
In LA, he continued honing his improv comedy skills completing UCB, Groundlings Basic, and Pack Level 3. He has completed Lawless Casting Seminars’ First Call Intensive, Killian’s Commercial Workshop, and studied commercials and scene study with casting director Chris Game.
When he’s not acting, you can find him hiking Griffith Park, running along the Los Angeles River path, or embarking on his most recent obsession – salsa dancing.
